Oban Winter Festival

17th - 26th November
Oban Winter Festival is a 10-day programme that positively oozes festive fun, food and adventure.

Now in its 7th year, Oban Winter Festival has grown to accommodate an extensive programme of events aimed at people of all ages. It is a ten-day celebration of Oban's unique culture and community with street parades,Reindeer, international and local performing acts, fire art, pipers, lantern parades and family fun.

The theme for this year’s festival is ‘ Something Old Something New’ and once again the extended programme will include St Andrew’s Day events. In celebration of this important national date, a Scottish Food & Craft Market, Haggis Festival, Whisky Festival, Clootie Dumpling competition, Ceilidh, and the St Andrew’s Day Tartan Dash will also form part of the festivities.

Festival action takes place mainly in the centre of town and getting from place to place is very easy. Discover the great shopping, bars and restaurants that make this town tick, take a tour of the local distillery and sample local malts, or enjoy a relaxing coffee in one of our many cafes while soaking up the beautiful view of the bay.
