Gigha Challenge 2018

28th April
Run, walk, or cycle the 11 miles around the island of Gigha. If you're not up for 11 miles, there's a 5k option as well. The Gigha Challenge is great fun and a fantastic way to see this beautiful island. There'll be evening entertainment and a raffle for the finishers at the Gigha Hotel.

Sitting three miles west of Kintyre, community-owned Gigha is an enchanting small island. Just seven miles long by a mile and a half wide, the main attractions – aside from the peace, quiet and wildlife – are the white sandy beaches that dot the coastline. There’s also a nine-hole golf course and a host of rare plants in the Achamore Gardens.
