Jo MacLean

Jo MacLean is the Communities, Recreation and Tourism Ranger for Forestry Commission Scotland working in the West Argyll Forest District. She has a real passion for the outdoors. When she's not working she's spending time with her young family and trying to find time for the adventure sports she loves. In her favourite things to do in Argyll's forests, including walks, cycles and picnic spots.

She says: “I cover a wide area from Appin down to Campbeltown and out to Dalmally. My role here is so varied which gives me a great opportunity to work with communities, residents and visitors to provide an enjoyable experience in our forests.
