Iona Barr

Wild swimming
Iona has spent summers in Argyll from the age of two and over the years sailed the west coast in her grandfather’s classic yacht “Silver Strand”. She moved to Argyll in 2007 and now swims daily all year. She also explores by boat and bike, and recounts these adventures on her swimming blog https://wildswimmers.wordpress.com.

“Moving to Argyll was the start of a whole new life and I can’t imagine ever going back to the city. I hope these posts may tempt a few people to take to the water to explore the wonders of Argyll in a new way.”
