Nature's Paradise - The Green Dot Trail

Every year, over one weekend in August, artists from across Argyll and the Isles throw open their studio doors and welcome the public to see the inspirational spaces they work in. And while the official name is Artmap Argyll’s Open Studios Weekend, it is also known as the Red Dot Trail, because each participating artist appears on the map as a number and a red dot!

Not surprisingly, artists across the region are inspired by our landscape, these are marked by green dots and known as the Nature’s Paradise trail. This trail is open all year round and you can visit these special places whenever you are in Argyll and the Isles. We have 12 green dots and below you will find what these mean to particular artists. You'll find the 12 stages of the trail at Green Dot Trail
