Ardentinny Beach and Forest Walks

Ardentinny Beach is a lovely picnic spot, and popular with families. There are interesting shells and coloured pebbles to collect and wildlife to look out for including seals and various raptors.

It's part of the Argyll Forest park, and there are some lovely easy trails, some which are suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. The Riverside Trail is an easy, fairly level route by the water, and looks wonderful in spring when the bluebells are out. Or you could try walking or cycling all the way to Carrick Castle on Loch Goil.

Barbecue and toilet facilities are available at Ardentinny Bay, in addition to free car parking.
