Arduaine Garden

The wonderful coastal garden of Arduaine lies 20 miles south of Oban and is an oasis of green. An oasis of soft hues, fresh textures and striking foliage, it's the place to come for a deep breath of calm. Warmed by the North Atlantic Drift, Arduaine nurtures plants from all over the world – from East Asia to South America. Come and take a stroll down the secret path for spectacular views over the ocean and islands. With something to see every day of the year, this late 18th century creation is an ideal spot to explore.

The garden is next to the grounds of the Loch Melfort Hotel, formerly Arduaine House, which dates from 1896.
