Fearnoch Forest

Fearnoch is a lovely, quiet woodland near Taynuilt and is ideal for a stroll, cycle or horse-ride. Enjoy the dramatic views to Ben Cruachan from picnic tables above the car park, and keep an eye out for red squirrels up in the forest canopy.

There are two moderate way-marked walks and a 5.4- mile cycle route with stunning views and woodland wildlife. The route mostly follows peaceful forest roads, so it’s great for horse-riding too. This is a vast forest, criss-crossed with forest roads and tracks, so do stick to the waymarked route.
