Loch Fad Fishery

Loch Fad on Bute is a wonderful spot for trout and pike fishing. It's classified by Scottish Natural Heritage as a site of special scientific interest (SSSI) for its scenic beauty and its huge diversity of bird life and vegetation. The loch is surrounded by wooded hills.

The fishing is suitable for the serious angler and the novice, and with one of the thirty boats with outboard motors the whole loch can be explored, from the dam wall right down to the shallows at the south of the loch.
