Machrie Golf Links

The Machrie takes its name from the Gaelic word machair, which means the links. Set in the dunes of Islay, and designed in 1891 by Willie Campbell, it is one of Scotland's oldest and most traditional links courses. Set on a stunning Hebridean bay, it must be one of the most beautiful locations in world golf.

The main feature of this links are the number of blind holes and blind shots that have to be negotiated from undulating, tight fairways onto wonderful, rolling greens.
