Duke's Path

Duke's Path is a strenous 11.4 mile walk that links Lochgoilhead with Ardgartan and on to Arrochar. It's a wonderful all-day outing along an old drove road. Long ago cattle traders herded their beasts along the track: perhaps they took the odd break to admire the views over Loch Goil as it stretches down to meet Loch Long. Later there’s beautiful mixed woodland, babbling burns and a perfect picnic spot at Corran Lochan. Duke's Path is part of the Cowal Way.
