Lochgoilhead Arboretum

The Lochgoilhead Arboretum area is a great place for a gentle stroll. You'll find off-road parking, an excellent playground, information boards and display maps and a number of path through the forest which are flat and perfect for a gentle ramble. It's called the 'Arboretum' because there used to be a formal collection of different tree species here. If you look closely you might just spot the rectangular blocks of planting.
