Crarae Garden

This beautiful 50-acre woodland garden in Minard near Inveraray is well worth a visit. Set in the gentle hills of Argyll, Crarae Garden is an exotic splash of wilderness – a proper Himalayan glen. Immerse yourself in the beauty of sparkling waters of the Crarae Burn and wonder in the woody paradise of rocky gorges, wooden bridges and thickets of maple and evergreens. From early 19th-century creation, the garden is a living museum of late Edwardian taste – a magical spot at any time of year, rich in azaleas, camellias, magnolias and more.

This tranquil site with its collection of trees and countless species of flowers is a perfect location to relax in the wonder of nature.
