2017 Programme

From April to October, Cara, Nikki and The Herd will be running an action-packed calendar of events from half day rides to week long all-inclusive riding holidays, popping up throughout the wilds of West Scotland.

April & August - two months of riding along Argyll’s Secret Coast. In the evening you can relax in the infinity pool and hot tubs at Portavadie - always a truly magical end to a hard day in the saddle. Week long point-to-point rides right across Cowal will be available during both months for the really adventurous amongst you.

May – the Wilder Ways team will be heading off grid to Scotland’s last true wilderness in the west, Knoydart.

June, September & October – the team heads back to their home turf in the north of Cowal. From hill to glen and river to sea, you will be enjoying spectacular mountain views, the glassy reflections on Loch Eck and the sunsets of Loch Fyne. Opportunities to sample exquisite local seafood and enjoy a local craft beer sitting on the shores of Loch Fyne with the horses grazing happily beside you. On September 3rd – 9th you can join Wilder Ways on their voyage home from Argyll’s Secret Coast all the way along the spine of the Cowal peninsula.

July - the herd set sail again to enjoy the beautiful Hebridean Isle of Islay.

In addition to the scheduled itinerary, Wilder Ways offers bespoke packages for groups and special occasions. For example they have created magical honeymoon riding experiences and special tailor made birthday picnic rides.
